John Mendez heads Mendez Strategy Group, a full-service community outreach consultancy. Mendez recently spearheaded the "Southeastern Sa Diego Economic Bus Tour" which spotlights the opportunities for job creation in some of San Diego's often-overlooked neighborhoods. In addition to his work through his company, Mendez is extremely active in community groups, and is a member of Hispanic Media Professionals.
